Lara Trump and Kari Lake: Peter Principle Personified?

The Peter Principle is a concept in management developed by Laurence J. Peter which observes that people in a hierarchy tend to rise to “a level of respective incompetence.” Employees are promoted based on their success in previous jobs until they reach a level at which they are no longer competent as skills in one job do not necessarily translate to another.” (Wikipedia)

Lara Trump’s recent bold (but feckless) proclamation to the Left “If You Cheat in ’24 We’ll Sue You!” shook the Left to the core – with unrestrained, gut-busting laughter. She has spent waaay too much time listening to Tom Fitton, chairman of Judicial Watch, who has an atrocious win-loss record and a questionable financial report with a heavy emphasis on spending money to raise money.

Lara Trump was presumably appointed vice-chair of the Republican National Committee (with the backing of her father-in-law Donald J. – no nepotism there!) in order to bring new energy and ideas to combat comatose RNC leadership that had failed to provide the highly touted – but impotent- Red Wave in 2020. If the RNC’s leadership is banking on slogans like “Beat the Cheat!” and “If You Cheat, We’ll Sue!” to win in November the Republicans are doomed to failure – again.

It is mind boggling how bubble encased GOP politicos fail to learn from very recent history. All one has to do to see the futility of suing the Left over electoral corruption is look at who is in the White House now. There is no more glaring an example than Kari Lake’s experience in Arizona to appreciate (as I predicted) the glacial and coopted judicial system favoring the Left. The courts are no longer an avenue of redress for recovering constitutional rights in any timely fashion to prevent a fait accompli.

Lara Trump has attained her Peter Principle by not demonstrating anything new or effective in preventing repetition of 2020 – nor has the Blinkin twin, RNC chairman Michael Whatley. Perhaps she should return to the clueless media community with her BA degree in communications from North Carolina State University or an equally appropriate future in the equally cloistered culinary arts by finishing her studies at the French Culinary Institute in New York City.

Kari Lake’s recent adamant proclamation that the U.S. Supreme Court “is wrong!” by upholding Arizona’s 19th century abortion law reveals what many suspected of Lake during her abortive campaign for Arizona governor: she’s a counterfeit conservative. Like many of the loudest in the GOP, she is not red. Like many of the “conservative” media, they may not like what the Left is doing to destroy America, but they personally are more Libertarian pink than legitimately conservative Red. Their view on abortion is the tell. Lake, like politicians and Hollywood actors, chose a career in front of a camera. They share the same neurotic, self-esteem issues requiring public adoration.

I financially supported and voted for Kari Lake in her gubernatorial run because she was espousing conservative principles – despite my suspicion of her moral compass being skewed as a media personality.  Many on the Right did – particularly considering her Democrat schizoid opponent Hobbs. Her response to the Supreme Court’s decision tells me her principles are politically motivated not intrinsic. Morality has no expiration date.  The Republican Arizona legislature kowtowing to pink conservative postulating – worried about losing votes in November – rejecting the original abortion law is just one of many reasons I became an Independent Voter.

The evidence continues to mount: there is no real difference between either Political Party.

Kari Lake has apparently attained her Peter Principle by entering politics. She possesses all the cosmetics of campaigning but lacks the moral foundation for representation. I have no doubt that will not prevent her from coat tailing Trump to higher political position – if he survives the lawfare of the Left.

The GOP will continue to lose as long as Trump continues hiring babes and boobs to fight The Long War with the Left with white dress gloves
