SECDEF Austin’s D.E.I. Career

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin is the poster child for the Left’s expertise at creating a false narrative – and its’ catastrophic consequences.

It’s good fiction: the meteoric rise in rank for a black young man from a predominantly black town of Thomasville, Georgia – with one of the lowest quality education systems in the state and the nation.

– What was young Austin’s SAT scores? What academic, physical and social activities earned him political appointment to a West Point undergoing racial quota mandates?

– What number was Lloyd on the list of West Point graduates?

– Why doesn’t his official CENTCOM biography list infantry platoon leader and company commander of an infantry company? For an infantry officer these are mandatory career progression positions and are proudly listed by those who have had them – especially in prestigious units – yet no mention of his specific positions. Interesting. Looks like he got a pass on those.

It would be interesting to see an example of Lloyd’s thesis at the Command & General Staff College – and how much was plagiarized (like Petraeus’ and MattisCounterinsurgency Manual when they removed the attribution to Thompson, Galula, et al.)  I wonder how good his writing and communicating skills actually are.

Most curious is Lloyd’s Silver Star – as a Brigadier General! As an Assistant Division Commander!
Being awarded the Silver Star used to mean something – specific acts of valor under fire.

Lloyd’s citation for the Silver Star is an interesting piece of work. For anyone who has read such citations Lloyd’s stinks of verbal judo justifying a medal for valor given for racial preference conducive to career progression – especially when the person who recommended it for him, Major General Buford Blount, his commander, also received a Silver Star!

If you’ve seen the outstanding movie Band of Brothers, you remember the Battle for Foye. Major Winters is seeing his feckless company commander going to pieces during the assault and impulsively rushes to take charge and save his men’s lives. The battalion commander orders him not to do so and Winters orders another trusted Captain to go relieve the piece of shit. There are a few good reasons why company commanders and up do not “lead from the front.”

One is it’s not their job. A successful attack in battle requires everyone doing their job. The job of leading an attack goes to the squad leader and the platoon leader. For a more senior ranking officer in the chain of command to “lead” the charge would really fuck things up for the troops – and render his subordinate officers useless (not to mention professionally disgraced). It confuses the troops as to leadership and communication during the heat of battle – never a good thing. Stepping on the shoulders of lower ranks reeks of careerism.

Secondly, at every echelon, the job of Assistant requires positioning at the rear ensuring the logistic “trains” are obtained and processed to the forward line of troops (FLOT) when and where the commander needs them. The Assistant (or Deputy) commander’s proper place on the battlefield is at the alternate headquarters coordinating support to the Commander fighting the battle forward.

As a brigade commander in Iraq, Petraeus politicked for a “V” (for valor) device be added to his citation for a Bronze Star and it was turned down. How did an Assistant Division commander qualify for a much higher award for valor? Lloyd’s and Blount’s Silver Star are shameful stains on those who earned them under actual combat – many at the cost of their lives. The U.S. forces so overwhelmed the Iraqi military that tens of thousands surrendered en masse. Where in your citation describes your “valor”? It’s not there. You should be ashamed of yourself.

But if Lloyd felt any shame or had any sense of right or wrong he wouldn’t be oppressing our military with the disastrous and insidious political aberration of D.E.I. – a program that is destroying the morale and good order of the military and eviscerating recruiting goals.

Rule #1 in every branch of the military of the U.S. military is “Truth to Power is not only punished but brutally suppressed.” No one above the rank of captain gets there by telling Truth to Power. It is only partially fiction that to make major one has to have a frontal lobotomy before pinning on the oak leaf.

Two generals within the same chain of command in the same unit being awarded the Silver Star – one recommending the other (or did they recommend each other?) broadcasts BULLSHIT to the rest of the troops – the ones who were actually “in the shit.”

Every position Lloyd had in the military was greased by Affirmative Action. Even Colin Powell admitted in his biography he benefited from Affirmative Action. He cited an incident in which he lost physical control of his weapon by leaving it in a vehicle during a major exercise in Germany. Any other non-connected, non-black lieutenant would have received career ending punishment.

Since Affirmative Action was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, the Left dodges the illegality by calling it D.E.I. Lloyd is being the obedient “boy” of the Left by faithfully following his masters’ voices implementing the mortal ideology upon a once proud military.

So it should be no surprise no one knew or cared where he was for a week as SECDEF. He is just a figurehead; a talking puppet. The furor by conservative media is absent from the MSM because they know the TruthLloyd is not critical to our national defense.

Not firing him for failure to report his absentee status proves he isn’t critical to the Pentagon, the nation, and especially not to the troops whose lives he has made miserable and exponentially more dangerous.
