I don’t know why MAGA media continues seeking opinions from a former night-shift typist and assistant press liaison for National Security staff. K.T. “Troia” McFarland miraculously rose from typist to Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs as a speechwriter then to Deputy National Security Advisor “under” Michael Flynn in 2017.
Where along that mysterious climb up the political ladder did she obtain the Knowledge, Skills and Abilities to occupy a position in which anyone should value her opinion? It certainly isn’t from her sparse resume’.
McFarland reminds me of a comment uttered by John Dutton (Kevin Costner) in Yellowstone: “They stopped vetting candidates a long time ago.”
Trump and his minions mega-moronic ignorance on all things “regime change” equals Stalin’s New Economic Program (NEP). In 1929, the Soviet regime forcibly imposed dekulakization seizing the crops and property of every private property owner
The NEP resulted in between 5 – 8.7 million deaths by starvation.
Trump’s threat to destroy “Iran as a a civilization” appears not to be an empty threat.
The problem with Trump’s nihilistic strategy is he is not differentiating between regime change of Iran’s radical Islamic leadership and the overwhelmingly pro-Western population.
Proving once again Trump is incapable of complex analysis.
Trump has quit referring to dismantling Iran’s leadership to simply destroying Iran in general. The subtle change in describing the Threat began just before he began his attacks on Iran’s infrastructure to avoid legitimate accusations of committing war crimes.
Well, guess what? Starving a civilian population is also a war crime.
Iran has a pro-Western population of 92.4 million people.
K.T. McFarland’s boast that “Trump’s starvation of Iran is working!” may be true. Trump’s blockade may starve upwards of ten million Iranians not including the tens of millions of men, women and children living a bare subsistence life in Third World countries whose survival depends on the blockaded fertilizer so critical for a good harvest.
At the Potsdam Conference, FDR asked Stalin about the consequences of his disastrous New Economic Program.
Stalin replied “I may have overdone it a bit.”
Trump and Hegseth dismissed food shortages, low morale and other issues aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln with the same surreal disassociation as Stalin (neither Stalin nor Trump ever having served in the military themselves and “Pretty Boy” Hegseth marginally for political gain) by saying the troops haven’t been deployed “long enough.”
It apparently needs pointing out to Trump, McFarland and the other mindless minions that such a strategy (as in all sieges) it is the people who suffer – not the leadership*.
If Trump’s War continues, I promise you four things will happen: 1. the good order and discipline of the Navy will crumble to that of the Army during the latter years of Vietnam resulting in wide spread insubordination, racial conflict and mutinies; 2. Millions of Iranian people will starve and turn once America admiring Persians into bitter enemies without changing their radical leadership (setting them up for another frustrated revolt resulting in another massive massacre), 3. China’s crouching tiger will pounce on democratic Taiwan enslaving millions more freedom loving people; and, 4. Putin’s recent air incursions into Europe will evolve into another Ukraine on a continental scale because both China and Putin will have waited for Trump’s profligacy to render the US into a paper Tiger.
America is captive to a stark, raving narcissist.
Iran is captive to ideologues.
Neither will capitulate.
Stalin had his Holodomor.
Trump will have his genocide because, according to clerk typist K.T. “Troia” McFarland, “Trump starving Iran is working!”
Who would have guessed it will have been a narcissistic, American megalomaniac and his REMF minions who started Armageddon?
