Senator Mark Kelly’s “Humanitarianism”: Diabolical or Disney Diplomacy?

On October 27, 2023, Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, a member of the Senate Armed Services and Intelligence committees, joined 25 Senate colleagues in releasing the following statement:  “We condemn Hamas’ horrific terrorist attacks against Israel, for which Israel must hold Hamas accountable. In the course of that endeavor, every effort must be made to protect innocent civilians. Right now, hospitals in Gaza are hours away from running out of fuel that powers ventilators, incubators for babies, and other lifesaving equipment, and diseases are rapidly spreading without power to treat and pump clean drinking water. To prevent a potential health crisis and help save countless lives, we believe it is possible to transport fuel directly to these hospitals, desalination plants, and water pumping stations with full transparency to prevent diversion to Hamas. There are extensive oversight mechanisms in place that will track the fuel deliveries directly to the intended sites where they can be used immediately to prevent the deaths of innocent civilians, including babies and children. We encourage the Biden administration to work with our Israeli, Egyptian, and UN partners to enable these lifesaving deliveries,” said the senators.

Is Mark Kelly et al emulating Jane Fonda in aiding and abetting the enemy? There are several things wrong-headed or outright deceiving about Mark Kelly et alhumanitarian” letter to send fuel to Gaza. “In the course of holding Hamas accountable every effort must be made to protect innocent civilians.” It is more than the height of hypocrisy and tragic irony that Kelly et al  are appealing to the head of their Party, the Obama-Biden Administration, to allow the shipment of fuel to hospitals and other facilities within Gaza. It is because of Obama-Biden that 1,400 innocent civilians have been massacred in a degree of cruelty on a par with the Nazis’ Final Solution.

Where has the public outrage and condemnation been against Hamas by these Democrat career politicians since October 7th? Crickets. Where was Mark Kelly et al outrage at Hamas’ cooking live, Israeli babies in ovens, crushing their necks with their boots, and cutting their heads off? Crickets!!!. Mark Kelly et al are condemned by their silence and by their collective sympathy for those who committed these abominations. God will not be mocked!

Their first public expression of concern about the Hamas- initiated war with Israel is alleged concern for the Gaza “innocent civilians” (if that isn’t an Oscar oxymoron). Considering the timing, their flatulent condemnation of Hamas and condescending allowance for Israel to hold Hamas “accountable” reeks of insincerity.

If Mark Kelly et al believe “it is possible to transport fuel directly to these hospitals, desalination plants, and water pumping stations with full transparency to prevent diversion to Hamas” they are living in a Disney World of diplomacy.  Neither the UN nor Iran / Hamas is known for transparency to any degree. Hamas and Iran have a long and proven history of diversion.

Which makes Kelly’s et alhumanitarian letter” a thinly disguised, diabolical scheme to further support Hamas against Israel. One thing the Democrat Party is famous for is unity. What their Party leader says, goes; his agenda is the Party faithful’s agenda. Obama-Biden at the helm of the Democrat Party means continuing the treasonous transfer of funds and material to Iran and other entities intent on destroying America. Mark Kelly et al are just dipping into the tool box of tried-and-true techniques of Democrat / Leftist dissembling and deception.

It’s curious that Mark Kelly et al conveniently proclaim faith now in the efficacy of the United Nations – who just passed a resolution against Israel’s right to respond- to [use] extensive oversight mechanisms that will track the fuel deliveries directly to the intended sites.  The United Nations has a long and sullied history of supporting those who hate Israel and America. Mark Kelly et al know this and it is disingenuous for them to use the UN as cover for their support of Hamas. Mark Kelly et al definition of “intended sites” is different than they are pretending.

Assuming the UN could get the fuel into Gaza and to the hospitals and other critical facilities, what is to prevent Hamas from benefiting since Hamas is in the hospitals and critical facilities? Fuel for the hospital is fuel for Hamas. They literally breath the same air by diabolical design. Mark Kelly et al can’t be oblivious to that fact. Would Mark Kelly et al have requested “humanitarian supplies” be sent to the German people as we are bombing them into the Stone Age during WW II?

The Gaza residents are as “innocent” as the German population that elected Hitler Chancellor. They deserve the same consequences.
