Justice for Marine Raiders! NOW!

What would you do if a drunken, steroidal bully spit in your face and began hitting you about your head and shoulders? I know what I would do – the same thing Marine Special Operations members did in Erbil, Iraq.  Defend themselves.  Add a politically correct, careerist general who has had no special ops training or experience to the mix and you enter the surreal world of the military’s command influenced system of injustice.  In this case, contrary to the investigating officer’s recommendations, General Yoo has recommended a stack of charges including manslaughter against the Marines who defended themselves.  The contractor was so drunk he later choked to death on his own vomit.  An ignominious death by his own hand for a bully.

The litany of miscarriages of justice within the pandemic Politically Correct military officer corps has made the term “military justice” as oxymoronic as “military intelligence.”  Unlike civilian life where a criminal has to try repeatedly to go to jail, in the military you can go to prison for showing initiative, making a command decision based on immediate circumstances, …or defending yourself if your commander is one of those feckless, ladder climbing, morally bankrupt yes men who populate the bloated and flatulent officer ranks.  Like the Marines – A Few Good Men, there are a few good officers (General Flynn is one and look what happened to him for trying to square away the D.I.A.).  But in my experience (as both an enlisted Marine and Green Beret and retired Special Forces captain) the majority of military officers are more concerned about “staying above the fray” and protecting their careers than taking care of good soldiers and Marines.

President Trump is the first president of the United States to recognize this problem and personally rectify it by pardoning several soldiers and Marines already whose lives were ruined by the military’s kangaroo court system.  Amazingly, the military has a 98% conviction rateOnly communist China has a conviction rate near that at 92%!  What’s wrong with this picture? A 98% conviction rate sounds like the voting turnout for communist countries – and for the same reason.  In a one-party political system those who control the ballots control the outcome.  The same thing with the military justice system.  It is commanders who determine who is charged and punished just as Putin does in Russia.  There is no impartial arbiter learned in law that makes a fair and unbiased decision on the merits of the case.  It is the commander who the Judge Advocate works for, reports to and is rated by.  Contradict the commander and good bye to your career.  Is that a fair way to administer “justice”?  No.  Yet there are many good, innocent warriors who have already spent time in prison, careers and lives ruined because of command influence in the military “justice” system.

Let’s keep this from happening again.  Please read and listen to the below information and help these young, good family men and great patriots avoid a miscarriage of justice by bringing political pressure to bear on General Yoo, have the charges dropped and restore the Marines and Sailor to full active duty.  It’s the only language military commanders understand.  It’s how they make decisions.  I know from personal experience.  This command environment can not continue!

I invite you to join me in:

  1. Contact President Trump and 1. request his involvement in this miscarriage of justice; 2. request a special commission to investigate the rampant command influence in the military justice system.
  2. Contact all your congressional representatives and ask for a congressional investigation into the conduct of General Yoo (like his DUI as a Captain that was swept under the rug).
  3. Support the legal defense team with donations. (see podcast attached).
  4. Share these warriors’ predicament with your social media network.
