Democrats and Dupes: Why the Midterm “Red Wave” Won’t Happen

The Right is slobbering over polls indicating a “Red Wave” in the midterms this November. It ain’t gonna happen. The same polls predicted Hillary’s election and Trump’s re-election.

Clay Travis and Buck Sexton were twisting their bubble-encased brains on what the Dems are going to do prior to the House and Senate being turned Red in November.  They reminded me of two Hanoi Hilton P.O.W. cell mates during the Vietnam War. Sitting beside each other during a meager meal, one looked at the other’s plate and asked, “Are you going to eat that?” His cell mate said, “No, go ahead.”  He took the chunk of “meat” and proceeded to chew – and chew, and chew, until, finally, he said, “I don’t think I can get this down!” To which the donor said, “Not surprised. I chewed on it for about twenty minutes and I couldn’t get it down either!”

Temporarily oblivious to their bigger problem of being surrounded by prison walls they were focused on the immediate problem of eating a rare morsel of pork.  Clay and Travis were forgetting about the “prison walls” surrounding them that created the current political debacle – the successful theft of a national election in 2020.

There are certain insurgency paradigms written in stone. One is insurgents stay with successful strategies until that strategy fails to work – presumably by a successful counter strategy from the government. Another is an insurgency can not be successful without leadership from an intellectual elite.

The Constitution requires certification of the national election by the House of Representatives on January 6th. A challenge to that election result has to be submitted at that time in letter form, by a member of the House of Representatives and seconded by a member of the Senate.

Two weeks ago, Newsmax showed a January 6 video of Arizona Representative Gosar submitting a challenge to the election results on the House floor, in writing and seconded by a Senator. Vice President Pence was required to conduct an audit of the national ballots.  It was exactly then that the Capitol police removed the barricades outside and invited the peaceful demonstrators into the Capitol building. The video shows the Capitol police guiding and encouraging the demonstrators toward the House floor where the challenge to the election was proceeding. Coincidence? I’m with NCIS Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs and President Franklin D. Roosevelt: “there are no coincidences in politics.” That wasn’t a riot. It was entrapment. It was premeditated murder by the person who ordered the barricades removed.

Why wasn’t the challenge to the election continued when the House floor was cleared of demonstrators? Why wasn’t the Constitution followed and the election audited?

The fact that there was no resumption of the electoral challenge procedure indicates to me more than anything that there is no significant difference between Democrats and Republicans.

The theft of the 2020 election by Democrats, RINOs, the judiciary, the media, and billionaire technocrats was a complete success. Those complicit in the theft are certainly not going to abandon such a successful strategy for the midterms when it has had such a monumental recent victory.  The few, feeble attempts at election legitimacy are being held up in court by coopted, government law enforcement agencies and their activist minions. They are using the Constitution against the will of the American people much like Southern sympathizers did in the North during the Civil War.  It was for that reason President Lincoln temporarily suspended habeas corpus. He had to in order to expeditiously address the immediate threat to preserve the Union.  By using the court system, the Southern rebels and the current Democrat Socialists thwart legal remedies to electoral corruption by miring appeals in a glacial judicial system.  By the time the courts decide the coup is a fait accompli

The Right is at the other disadvantage of not having intellectuals lead them in a counterinsurgency against the Left. The GOP is more concerned with maintaining office than with principle, with power (even as the Minority they can still wield influence for cash) than preserving the electoral process.  With no ideologically committed intelligentsia on the Right and no effective strategy to counter it, there will be no “Red Wave” in November.  The theft of the upcoming midterm elections will be just a repeat of an already successful strategy by the Left.

Add to the recipe the oligarchy absolutely will not allow the impeachment of Biden with a Republican majority. Or an impartial investigation into the Jan. 6th protest. Or the demographic gerrymandering on the border, ad infinitum.  And the stage is set for even more blatant election corruption.

“Elections are merely a substitute for Civil War” – Lyford P. Edwards, The Natural History of Revolution,” 1934.  The corollary to that is: When elections are perceived as illegitimate by a sufficient number of electors, is the only recourse Civil War?

In America, elections are the Civil War. And the midterms are Gettysburg.
