AG Mark Brnovich: Arizona’s Benedict Arnold

“Where law ends, Tyranny begins.” – John Locke

Benedict Arnold was General George Washington’s most trusted general during our war for independence 1776-1784. That trust was betrayed by Arnold in a most insidious manner.

He fought with distinction for the Continental Army during the American Revolution rising to the rank of major general. General Washington had given him his fullest trust by placing him in command of fortifying and defending the key terrain of West Point, New York. In 1780, alert sentries in Washington’s camp found a message in the boot heel of British spy John Andre’ revealing plans for Arnold to turn West Point over to the British for L20,000. Washington was heard to exclaim “If I can’t trust my best general, who can I trust?” As Washington approached West Point and found no defensive preparations, he saw Arnold being rowed out to a British warship. Mrs. Arnold was found crying hysterically inside their house. She felt betrayed by her husband for not taking her with him and feared being discovered having acted as liaison between her husband and Andre’.

In the latter part of the war, Arnold was commissioned a brigadier general in the British Army, and placed in command of the American Legion. He led his British troops against Continental soldiers he once commanded including the slaughter of prisoners and burning the town of Groton, Massachusetts. His name has been synonymous with treason and betrayal since.

“Ordinary men cannot administer those laws today in the face of pressures generated by huge industries and focused with great skill on and against the sensitive areas of government. Ordinary men yield too quickly to the present-day urge toward conformity, timidity, and personal security.”

“If our regulatory laws are not administered by men of the same character, courage, and outlook as the men who enacted the laws, we will surely find the regulated industries and companies successful in postponing, or evading entirely, the responsibilities which are supposed to accompany their rights.”

By dropping all charges against the Chief Yuma vote harvester except the most minor offense, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovic has betrayed his oath of office as the state’s chief law enforcement officer and the trust of the citizens of the state of Arizona. By dropping those charges and refusing to prosecute to the fullest extent a crime that cuts at the root of our most basic civil right to an honest election, he slapped every voter in the face. He enabled the chief ballot harvester to walk out of court laughing at the only system that provides citizens the right to have their will expressed and enforced. He colluded in that fraud by failing to fulfill his duty to prosecute the offender. This sent a clear and convincing message that our ballots are worthless and the fraud can continue unpunished until the midterms in November. “Red Tide” in November? HAH!  With Republican “friends” like that, who needs Democrats?

“Abandonment of the public interest can be caused by many things, of which timidity and a desire for personal security are the most insidious, the least detectable, and, once established in a regulatory agency, the hardest to eradicate.”

Mark Brnovich’s latest betrayal to the citizens of Arizona [the previous one being ignoring the fraud of 2020 and dismissing the audit] shows a gross lack of a moral compass. And he is a “Republican.”  This is the type of politician political parties get when they don’t vet candidates on their character. Brnovic is further proof that there are no Political Parties – just Money Parties.

“The big problem is to find men of ability, character, courage, and broad vision who have the same viewpoint as the authors of the legislation they will be called on to administer; men who don’t become neurotic with worry after casting a vote for the public interest. – Howard Morgan: On the Staffing of Regulatory Agencies, March 1963; Annals Vol. 18, p. 165

“What is often misunderstood is that [Political Parties] are capable of subverting, manipulating, and, finally, directing for their own ends, the wholly legitimate grievances of a developing society.” – Robert S. McNamara: Military Hardware, Economic Assistance, and Civic Action; June 1, 1966; Annals Vol. 18, p. 356.

So why do you think our good state of Arizona is consistently in the top five states to experience massive voter fraud? The demoncratic socialist communists stole the 2020 election; used exactly the same tactics in 2022 to steal the election; and, since we all lack the balls to stand up to this corruption, will likely use them again in 2024. Until we stop this travesty, we will never win another election again.

Thanks for commenting. I believe I explained why in my blog: “Dolo Democrats and the Impending Midterm Miasma. Its a basic tenet of insurgents that they don’t change successful tactics until those tactics are defeated. The problem is the Republican Party is more interested in retaining power and wealth than in reforming electoral corruption. IMO they are as corrupt, in general, as the Dems. There is plenty of historical evidence of that in my book series Collectanea of Conservative Concepts, Vol. 1-3. That’s why George Washington in his farewell address warned the electorate of “factions.”
