Trump’s “Red Square” Parade: Hubris and Hypocrisy on Display

Trump's Pitiful Parade

Trump’s birthday parade with giant posters of The Great Leader adorning government buildings – and, by the way, it was the army’s birthday as well –  looked like a May Day Parade feebly emulating the massive parades in front of the Kremlin’s Red Square or Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. (update: I really need to put my glasses on when doing Order of Battle ID. There’s a slight difference between tanks and Humvees.)

Not surprising since Trump has been performing political fellatio on Putin since taking office hoping to erect (in the physical and Freudian sense) a golden Trump Tower – Moscow since he hosted the Miss America Contest in the 1990s.

The massive poster of Trump hanging from a government building – something never seen before in a city renowned for its’ hubris – begged the question “who is honoring who?”

What a monumental waste of taxpayer money, diesel fuel and soldiers’ precious weekend liberty – just like his gold engraved pens.

It is particularly galling to see Trump attach his date of birth with the birthday of the American Army considering he lied to avoid military service. He told his draft board he couldn’t serve because he had a “disqualifying” medical condition – shin splints. When requested to provide proof of his “disability,” Trump ignored the board’s request and continued living his life of luxury bought with the best blood of America.

Trump added insult to his lie telling friends “I’m not stupid. I’m not going to Vietnam.” A LIE he ordered his campaign advisors to downplay during his first run for the presidency. Where was the “conservative” media then? The same media complaining of a Biden cover-up? The same “conservative media” who likewise avoided serving their country?

If Trump hadn’t decided running for President was a great opportunity to multiply his wealth through his children (like his predecessor and congressmen) and he needed the votes, this New York City in-bred, rich boy wouldn’t have thought twice about supporting the U.S. military. He wouldn’t have been photo-op’d humping the American flag like he’s f@#king the Statue of Liberty (which he did with his draft board, his 5 million dollar immigration Gold Card, and is doing to Ukraine)

Based on what I see, Trump’s risk-reward analysis whether to run for president was totally egocentric. He concluded there was no downside. He had more than enough money to pay for the campaign and the incessant and spurious lawsuits. He read the polls and knew the people felt the country was going spiraling downward.  He knew what “Mad Men” rhetoric would galvanize the highly emotionally electorate’s reaction to the disastrous Obama / Biden administrations

I’m a very conservative person but it bothers me seeing the same group hypnosis (Group Think) at MAGA rallies I’ve seen on historical newsreels – and at RNC and DNC political rallies.

Establishing an “Independent Party” will not change a thing. (see: Meet John Doe movie by Frank Capra, 1941)

Having achieved “Great” wealth what else is there to satisfy a hungry ego? Nothing is more anathema to the wealthy and successful than not acquiring more – and more – and more. (see: History of the Great American Fortunes by Gustavus Myers, 1907; and The Great Deformation by David A. Stockman, 2013)

Trump has done some good for the country. Securing the border was a no-brainer considering the (temporary) rage of the electorate. Anyone elected president could have done that with a stroke of pen – and it be just as transient until the media modifies the rage of the citizens through pity pieces – and congress continues to subvert our historical narrative through closed-door “immigration reform” law.

Where is the outrage by the average American citizen as congress allows close to a million legal immigrants to enter this country for the last three decades?  A Democrat and GOP (Uni-Party) policy “fundamentally changing” the character of America that has never been approved by the electorate? (see: Alien Nation: Common Sense About America’s Immigration Disaster by Peter Brimelow)

I’m all for sending the Dogs of War to squash the insurrectionists and terrorist supporters demonstrating in L.A., and around the nation. Water cannon and mace should be replaced with flamethrowers and napalm; batons with bayonets, and Marine snipers for those waving foreign flags on American soil and burning Old Glory

Where’s the community when their city is being destroyed? (see: Vigilance Committees: What the Media Won’t Tell You dated 12/28/2024)

I have to give the Useful Idiots their due when they came up with the slogan “No More Kings!”  Trump’s posing as a King and as a Pope begged for the rejoinder – and it has merit! Any comedian will tell you the best humor has a bit of Truth in it. 10% of sarcastic humor contains Truth. With Trump’s thinly veiled, terminal megalomania that percentage is closer to 60-40.

No other president in American history has shown more disrespect to U.S. citizenship than Trump when he proudly displayed his illegalGold Card” for citizenship for sale at 5 million dollars each ( (see: Trump’s Gold Card is a Felony! dated April 6, 2025)

More proof that Trump s a poll panderer who has no idea what real patriotism is. e

Trump makes P.T. Barnum look like an amateur.

Ordering the American flag to half-staff for the death of a Catholic pope? Ever heard of the concept called “Separation of Church and State?” More evidence of Trump‘s policy “he who has the gold makes the rules.” Not a coincidence considering how much wealth is secreted in the caverns below the Vatican.

Trump is on a par with Biden when it comes to ignoring the Constitution: same kind of self-serving pardons, same using the Office of the President of the United States to enrich himself and his family;  same bankrupting budget; same pandering to special interests – foreign and domestic; and the same selective socialism (see: SALT tax exemptions for select states)

Trump’s ignorance of anything not taught at the Wharton Whorehouse of Business is stunning – like foreign policy, the constitution, and the military. That ignorance has serious consequences domestically and internationally.

Trump is the first United States president to “walk away” from America’s role as leader of the Free World.  It is stunning and humiliating on a national scale to hear Trump flippantly say “Sometimes you just have to let them fight it out. Like kids playing on a playground.”  Such imbecilic, juvenile rhetoric could only come from a culturally isolated New York City rich kid who has had every need met his whole life and has never yet found a principle (like freedom) worth fighting and dying for.

No one has the right to quit when there is so much at stake in the struggle for freedom.”
