The willful disregard for the welfare of Hurricane Helene victims by President Biden and DHS Secretary Mayorkas sets a new standard for criminal negligence; their theft of FEMA funds to finance their treasonous elimination of our borders puts the most egregious wall street huckster to shame. Their conduct reminds me of the movie The Wizard of Oz in which Ray Bolger sings “If I Only Had a Brain!”
The damage done by Hurricane Helene is custom made for response by specific Army units.
First: the 101st Airborne Division is called “Air Mobile” for a reason. They have hundreds of OH helicopters from light reconnaissance / observation who can locate and vector in relief forces to specifically identified locations; at which time the heavy lift CH-47 Chinooks capable of carrying tons of relief supplies can fly in water and food. They have UH-160 Blackhawks that can carry personnel trained to provide relief …..
….. like the 96th Civil Affairs Regiment out of Ft. Bragg, NORTH CAROLINA who have Reverse Osmosis Processing Units (ROPU) that can filter ocean (or flood) water into desperately needed potable water. Without clean water disease will begin to spread rapidly adding to the death toll. The 96th has a multitude of specialists trained in setting up government agencies and providing host nation assistance – skills easily transferrable to the destroyed cities’ offices and agencies.
The 82nd Airborne Division, also at Ft. Bragg, NORTH CAROLINA is a light infantry unit trained to operate behind the lines – in this case the ability to insert into areas denied normal avenues of approach. The disaster area needs a large volume of boots on the ground who are accustomed to minimal comforts to search out and rescue the survivors. These infantry units also have combat medics who can provide immediate medical treatment – and who know how to call in CASEVAC helicopters.
They also come equipped with stand alone communications capabilities in areas that are without normal communications.
The 4th Psychological Operations Regiment at Ft. Bragg, NORTH CAROLINA is structured to distribute information on a massive scale. They have assets enabling hurricane survivors know what is being done to help them and where to go to get that help. That alone would at least give the dwindling number of survivors a modicum of hope to hang on.
Where’s the Pentagon leadership in offering assistance? Oh, yean, SecDef Austin – the DEI appointee is …..at the beach?
Time is the victims’ enemy. The longer Biden / Harris / Majorkas sit on their thumbs, the more people are going to die.
