When “Peace” Trumps Victory – Hamas’ Strategic Trojan Horse

“When words lose their meaning, people lose their liberty.”
Confucius

Trumph* and his myopic mob are experiencing pre-mature ejaculation over their “historic” Middle East Peace Agreement “only possible through the efforts of president Trumph.” They are already writing Trumph’s Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech.

They’re forgetting the successful Hamas tactic that resulted in the October 7th massacre of 1,200 Israelis

Through a carefully calculated public relations campaign Hamas convinced Israelis they had been living in “peace” with Israelis for the last several years.  That perception influenced “Rave” concert sponsors to believe they could party within miles of the Gaza border.
In my opinion, those who attended the Rave concert were the typical politically naive liberals who live in a diplomatic Disneyland believing everything their enemies tell them. I wonder if it is those same liberals who convinced the State of Israel to quit carrying their weapons in public. One of the women taken hostage on October 7th was seen on video as proclaiming incredibly “But we hired you to work for us!”

The media and the State Department routinely celebrate “peace” in previous crises achieved only after offering pre-negotiation concessions to our adversaries that were politically, economically and geographically devastating to our less powerful Allie’s we were supposedly bargaining on behalf of. (see: How Democracies Perish by Jean-Francois Revel, 1983)

Trumph’s concession is accepting a seriously qualified Hamas acceptance of his 20 Points.  Hamas knows Trumph’s red line – “complete obliteration” – isn’t really a red line at all but a bluff to be called that guarantees an extended deadline. They’ve seen it multiple times with Ukraine and Iran.
Like in the U.S. military when some idea fairy strikes a commander’s imagination – success is guaranteed by his say-so.

It’s easy to claim “Peace” when you change the definition of the word – and remove the requirement for Victory. Lowering the standard for “Peace” enables politicians to claim victory when there is no real victory – ergo no real peace.

“Peace” to America rarely means peace to the attacked nation.

“Peace” to American administrations usually means Victory to our adversaries.

A negotiated peace is no real “Peace. Only total victory achieves real peace. Ask Neville Chamberlain.

Thanks to FDR’s shadow Socialist advisor, Harry Hopkins, “peace” in Europe meant victory to the communists and enslavement of most of Europe.

Thanks to the State Department’s “peace” the Korean Peninsula remains divided at the 38th latitude

Thanks to the State Department and US presidents’ Vietnam was divided in half after a  “Negotiated” peace and “withdrawal with honor” that enabled the communist North to invade the South and conduct genocide. (see: The Pentagon Papers by Daniel Ellsberg and Anthony Russo)

Thanks to Bush, Obama, Trump, Biden and the State Department Afghanistan is still ruled by the Taliban after twenty years of futile war and thousands of American deaths. (see: The Afghanistan Papers by Craig Whitlock)

JFK’s Bay of Pigs debacle resulted in Castro receiving ten times the amount of restitution Castro ever dreamed of asking for. (see: A Dagger in the Heart: American Policy Failures in Cuba by Mario Lazo, 1968)

So Trumph and the MAGA media’s spasmodic clutching credit for “Peace in the Middle East” is – like many of Trumph’s boasts –  premature, cosmetic and temporary

Hamas – with Putin’s help – continues to play Trumph like the golden fiddle he is –  the megalmaniac who prizes his reputation for the “Deal” above political reality.

Hamas needs rescue from total destruction – from what Netanyahu explicitly and publicly vowed after the massacre on Oct. 7th

After several empty threats and deadlines (“by Friday or complete destruction!”), Trumph’s 20 Points gave Hamas a last minute life preserver – a menu to select from to gain time and space just as Israel was finishing the destruction of Hamas – preventing accomplishing actual victory

Hamas’ current survival strategy dates back to the Trojan Horse of Homer’s Greek mythology during the twelfth or thirteenth century B.C.  Similar tactics are mentioned in Sun Tzu’s The Art of War” (475-221 BC).  Mao’s Three Stages of War explain it in his “Little Red Book” (Quotations from Chairman Mao, 1964) and have updated their OPLAN with endorsement of Colonels Qiao Liang and Wang Xiansui publication of Unrestricted Warfare, 1999.

The Russians have the same strategy but have not put it in print (see: Ion Pacepa’s DisInformation, 2013).

The Trojan Horse is a giant wooden horse from Greek mythology the Greeks used to to conquer Troy after a ten-year siege. The Greeks built the horse, filled it with soldiers and presented it as a gift to the Trojans and Athena as a symbol of peace. The Trojans, despite warnings, brought the horse inside the city walls to celebrate their apparent victory. Late that night after the celebrants were drunk with “victory” and asleep, the soldiers exited the wooden horse, opened the gates to their comrades who massacred the population and burned the city.

Today the term is used metaphorically to describe anything – a person, an idea, a product – that appears beneficial or harmless but contains a hidden, often malicious agenda.

Just like what happened on October 7th

Mao’s three stages of warfare include Phase 1: organization of the political structure and indoctrination of the masses; Phase 2: guerrilla warfare; Phase 3: open conventional warfare. Failure at any stage simply requires reverting to a previous phase of warfare.

Just like Hamas is doing now with Trumph’s 20 Points.

But the war itself never ends. Not for communists. Not for Hamas nor any Islamic radical.

That is why negotiated “peace” is only a tactic by evil to regain its’ footing. 1

That is why nothing but Total Victory will suffice to bring “Peace” to the Middle East – or anywhere else in the world (like Ukraine!)

Anything short of Total Victory is just “Trumping**

Putin’s style of communist warfare views negotiations as a sign of weakness and treaties as just a delaying tactic for obtaining time to regroup and reorganize for further offensive operations while simultaneously negotiating for a stronger political position. (see: Pacepa, DisInformation)

Just like Hamas is doing with Trumph and Israel in Gaza

Trumph is unwilling to pay the very real and very inevitable cost of real victory.- as is a significant portion of the hedonistic Israeli population.

Netanyahu and Hamas are stroking Trumph’s ego because it costs neither of them anything to appease the megalomaniac – for now. It gives both sides breathing room – to give Hamas time to strengthen and Netanyahu time to pacify a pacifist population while awaiting another October 7th.

Netanyahu is recommending Trumph for the Nobel Peace Prize because he knows that’s what Trumph wants most of all – knowing this “deal” won’t hold an enemy who has sworn to eradicate his nation to his word.

US and Israeli intelligence probably know this about Hamas intended deception during the ongoing “Peace Process.” They may have briefed Trumph on what they know of Hamas’ true intentions.

But Trumph wants the Nobel Peace Prize so badly he’s ignoring the intelligence to grandstand his way to Stockholm

Meanwhile, Putin, Xi, and Hamas continue using “Peace” as a weapon – a 21st century version of Nazi Germany’s North Pole Syndrome.

“The more we do to them the less they believe we are doing it!” – Goebbels

*Trumph” is a portmanteau of “Trump” and “Humph! (see “humph” in Merriam-Webster Dictionary)
** In the UK, “Trumpis slang for fart or to break wind. This usage is informal and can be considered childish by adults but is well-established and understood, possibly originating from the sound of a trumpet.” – AI Google  (Talk about type casting!)
