The Disabled Veterans and Disabled Veterans Auxiliary are soliciting support for reinstatement of the Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs) ability to “review” all VA decisions prior to their final determination. VSOs were able to notify VA of “mistakes” of the determination allegedly avoiding a “time-consuming” and “costly” appeals process. The VA eliminated VSOs review on April 24 this year. Hallelujah!
The VSO review process made a mockery of the term “disability”. Every veteran knows if they just persist (3 times was the magic number) the VA would give in and grant the often fraudulent (often age related) malady as a service connected disability. Every VA doctor knows if they deny an obviously fictitious claim for disability the veteran can a. get a lawyer, or, b. write a congressman and the claim will be granted because the VA won’t spend money defending a qualified medical opinion.
The Veteran Claim “Transparency” Act – in perfect Socialistic dissembling disinformation – is misnomered as “transparency” when in fact reinstating the interference of politicians and lawyers in a qualified doctor’s expert opinion obfuscates the process creating unmanageable appointment delays and unsupportable mushrooming of the federal budget. VSOs have morphed from true veteran caretakers to lobbyist hitmen a la’ Union legbreakers. The veterans themselves should be ashamed at the degree of whining and sniveling (lying and cheating) to suck the teat of the federal government dry. Veterans – of all people- should not act as “Useful Idiots” conspiring with the Clower-Piven Leftist strategy of bankrupting America through fraudulent disability claims. You are sabotaging quality service for your comrades in arms who do have legitimate service-connected disabilities.
Agent Orange disability for blue water Navy? How many trees grow in the East China Sea? 50% disability for sleep apnea – for being overweight? Two of the most vociferous VSOs were anti-Vietnam War protestors. Vietnam Veterans of America was formerly Vietnam Veterans Against the War. It and the other VSO actively encouraged draftees to go to Canada and service members to desert the military. They are now subversives cloaked in legitimacy but with the same agenda.
Vote NO on S. 3761 / H.R. 7443. Stop the rampant Fraud, Waste and Abuse.
