First Casualty in War”

The “Father of Tragedy“
Memo to President “Forrest” Trump: “Are you retarded or just plain stupid?”
“[Trump] is like playing chess with a pigeon. Trump shits all over the board, knocks over all the pieces, then struts around with his chest puffed out as if he won the game.” – Anonymous
That describes “Forrest” Trump to a golden “T”.
MEMO TO BILL MAUR: Making Iranian citizens “happy” is not a U.S. National Security interest. They – like the Venezuelans – should be making themselves happy. We should support their efforts toward “domestic tranquility” but they have to earn it the old fashioned way IF they want to keep it.
Freedom isn’t “free.” It has to be bought and paid for by the consumer – the same way we Americans paid for it 250 years ago.
“Epic Fury” sounds morbidly reminiscent of Bush, Jr.’s “Shock and Awe” that turned Iraq into another Vietnam.
“President George W. Bush conducted the “shock and awe” military campaign, which began on March 20, 2003, as part of the invasion of Iraq. This massive air strike targeted Baghdad to immediately overwhelm Iraqi forces and topple the Saddam Hussein regime. … The campaign involved intense bombing aimed at incapacitating the enemy’s capacity to fight and communicate.” – Google AI

“Our mission is to destroy Iran’s ability to conduct offensive operations” – Rubio
It’s almost as if Trump and his lackeys are reading from the same failed playbook by Georgie, Jr.
Just like George, Jr. read Johnson, McNamara and Westmoreland’s failed playbook “bomb them back into the Stone Age” Operation Rolling Thunder and the subsequent massive troop build-up when that failed.
In typical Trumpian P.T.Barnum showmanship, Epic Fury is another display of Trump’s hubristic megalomania that conveniently distracts the American public from domestic corruption, immorality and economic failure.
That explains the Trump Administration’s conflicting and FALSE rationale for the war – AGAIN.
That’s the definition of insanity.
No country in the history of the world has conducted regime change without massive numbers of troops OCCUPYING hostile Terrain.
(See: movie Shock and Awe (2017) starring Woody Harrelson, and Tommy Lee Jones,)
If Congress continues allowing Trump to wreak havoc on the Constitution, Epic Fury” is NOT, in the words of feckless Secretary of State Rubio – “the beginning of the end.” It’s the beginning of another twenty-year war with (already) false rationale, constantly changing missions and politically gymnastic definitions of victory – all masking reality: defeat and retreat at the cost of thousands of American lives.
Trump berates oil tankers for their reticence to enter the Straight of Hormuz. He promises safe conduct and insurance coverage.
“The Strait of Hormuz is 21-30 miles wide at its narrowest point between Iran and Oman. While the overall width is narrow of itself, the shipping lanes for oil tankers are restricted to just 2 miles wide in each direction. It is only 150-200 feet deep.” – Google AI
In combat operations that’s called a choke point. In defensive tactics it’s called a “Kill Sack” – a geographic location in which the attacking threat is channelized into a concentrated area enabling the defense to focus its lethality. It’s a defensive economy of force tactic.
Trump, et al. brag about knocking out high percentages of Iranian air and sea defenses. Tell that to the seven US service members who died because the Patriot missile system missed a single, one-way drone.
What do defeated countries do when they are overwhelmed by superior firepower?
They go Low-Tech. They resort to “Death by a Thousand Cuts” – like booby traps in Vietnam and IEDs in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Ukraine is actually winning the war against a vastly numerically superior Russian invasion force due to their ingenious adaptation of drone warfare (and Musk kicking the Russians of Starlink).
Can Trump, Rubio and Hegseth guarantee those oil tankers 100% security against a drone attack while entering a 2 – mile “kill sack”? One has to see an oil tanker up close to fully appreciate what a huge, slow-moving target it is. It would take just one oil tanker exploding from one lone drone to block one lane of the Strait of Hormuz. One more would block the other channel. That would completely block the entire Strait and bring 20% of the world’s oil supply to a complete halt.
Considering Trump’s abysmal record for keeping his word to the Ukrainians in guaranteeing their safety, it is no wonder the oil industry is queasy about trusting Trump’s guarantee of safety through the Strait of Hormuz.
Religious Ideology doesn’t disappear when slammed with a Trump golden sledgehammer. it fragments into hundreds of little bubbles until it gravitates back into another large mass – as we saw with ISIS in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.
As we’ve seen with Israel killing Hamas leader after sequential Hamas leader, so has Trump fallen into the same trap after the Iranian assembly replaced the dead ayatollah with his even more sadistic son.
Netanyahu and Trump are doomed to fail for the same reason: Failure or inability to foment intrinsic, organized and popular resistance.
It was Russia who sent 5,000 “advisors” to the Middle East in the 1950s who inseminated the Arab world with the idea to connect the U.S. with Israel as The Great Satan. (See: DisInformation: Former Spy Chief Reveals Secret Strategies for Undermining Freedom, Attacking Religion and Promoting Terrorism by Lt. General Iop Pacepa; 2013
Russia and China are the bankers who can always be depended upon to resurrect their surrogates from the dead.
MEMO to Brian Kilmead: China’s temporary halt to harassing Taiwan is not “out of fear of the power of the U.S. MILITARY”.
Russia and China are simply biding their time letting Trump expend America’s strength while observing US operations for vulnerabilities in tactics and weaponry.
Russia and China have always prioritized shaping ideology through propaganda as their “primary scalpel.”
Communists call it “The Long War” for a reason.
The only sure way to defeat ideology is from within.
By supporting armed, popular nationalistic resistance.
Trump is actually mimicking JFK in setting the Iranian (and Venezuelan) people up for failure. (See: Dagger in the heart: American policy failures in Cuba by Mario Lazo, 1970; 470 pgs.)
That failure cost over a thousand lives.
Perhaps Trump’s campaigns of chaos should be renamed “Operation Whack-A-Mole.”
The game is “GREAT” exercise but real victory is futile without organized, deeply-rooted political, cultural, and armed resistance from within.
“Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” – George Santayana
