Why does Ukraine has to suffer its population being murdered, their homes destroyed, their livelihood disrupted and freedoms abolished before supposedly “Democratic”, free nations respond to the misery of their neighbors?
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was no surprise by any means. The undeniable Indicators & Warnings were there for weeks! Through Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) it was crystal clear to NATO and every head of State (even to Brain Dead Biden) long before they crossed the border Putin was going to invade and it was no “military exercise.” Rather than respond proactively by sending in the requisite military aid our feckless Fathers waited (and are waiting) until innocent men, women and children had to die before moving a millimeter in their defense. Sanctions don’t prevent mass murder. Where is the conscience of the “Free World”?
If the “Free World” had a moral compass, once the SIGINT intercepts supported the I & W on the ground, it would have immediately sent in the necessary military equipment to dissuade Putin from invading in the first place. That would have saved thousands of lives. That would have been the morally legitimate, militarily wise, and economically most feasible Course of Action. But neither Europe nor the Biden “administration” (using that word very loosely) has a moral compass. They don’t believe in one. [Trump did – and does – probably because he’s made his money and doesn’t have to rely on our tax money to get rich.] As a result, Ukraine is experiencing the unconscionable misery of a maniac.
George Romney, upon leaving a long and distinguished career in public service, was asked his opinion of the American people. “Americans don’t act until it is too late – and then they overreact.” The “Free World” has no fear of “overreacting.” It’s not even capable of achieving the former status quo against Russia now nor its enemies of the past. Of anyone, one would think heads of State would have a moral compass. It would prevent so much human misery. But the prevailing principle among heads of State is: The bigger the crisis the more profit to be made so why prevent one? There’s much more money to be made in Nation re-building than in preventing its destruction. Where is the conscience of the “Free World?”
It’s in the World Bank. And human beings are paying the bill. Shame on the “Free World.”
