From this staunchly conservative’s Independent point of view, pseudo conservatives like everyone in MAGA Media – Fox News and Newsmax – are so far up Trump’s royal, pro-communist, gold-plated ass they can’t see or hear the majority of Americans’ (according to polls) – who aren’t part of the radical Left – objections to Trump’s Golden Sledgehammer approach to removing Iran as a world threat.
Just as a substantial number of former Democrats have been driven Right by the radical shift to the extreme, anti-American Democrat agenda, as a former 40-year registered Republican, I was driven out of the GOP by the GOP elitists who lost touch with the average citizen.
Just as today’s Democrat Party is no longer the Party of Massachusetts Senator Patrick Moynihan or Texas Democrat Barbara Jordan, today’s GOP hasn’t been a real, representative Republican Party since Barry Goldwater (see: The Conscience of a Conservative: A Rejection of Destructive Politics and A Return to Principle by Barry Goldwater, republished in 2017; 160 pages.)
That includes Reagan who signed the culturally devastating Immigration Reform Act that turned immigration upside down and set the stage for the disintegration of America’s historical narrative.
FYI: I had a close friend who was “in the room” where high-ranking GOP elite were discussing who the presidential candidate was to be for the 1980 presidential campaign. Reagan was generally considered “Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.”
So much for performative campaign primaries.
Trump ran as a non-politician candidate. True. He is worse. Trump is worse than a politician the way a mafia boss is worse than a used car salesman.
Trump being the “better candidate than Harris” sets the bar about as low as it can go. Being a “better” candidate than Harris doesn’t excuse Trump’s megalomaniacal, pro-communist, schizophrenic approach to international relations regarding national defense and foreign trade – particularly when it comprises repeated violations of Constitutional principles, Clinton-esque immorality, outright financial corruption, and blatant, Biden-esque nepotistic conflicts of interests.
Trump’s megalomania and autistic schizophrenia has morphed from a once “No More Wars” candidate into a war mongering idol of the elite Right (aka: The Political – Military – Industrial – Complex).
MAGA Media fawns over Trump’s “finally doing something about Iran that should have been done for the last 47 years.”
That includes administrations of both Parties – another reason for the term “Uni-Party.”
The problem with Trump “doing something” is he doesn’t know what or how to “do something” that will guarantee a clearly defined VICTORY.
Trump is very much like a child driving a semi-truck hauling nitroglycerine. His ignorance of international relations and national defense is like that child driving nitro down the Interstate when he can’t steer or reach the brake pedal.
Images of that illegal alien making a fatal U-turn in the middle of the Florida interstate come to mind – only the dead are just beginning to be counted.
That is why no administration before has done anything. They couldn’t articulate victory either. Or they sympathized with Iran as during Obama’s all-things-Islamic genuflecting administration.
The reason Communist countries survive in the Long War against the West – the United States – is because America doesn’t just change administrations every four or eight years we also change our ideologies – as time has gone by the political pendulum has swung further Left and Right as both Parties participate in what de Tocqueville warned us about – soft Socialism to appease a hedonistic electorate.
During this time the Ivy League, Skull & Bones boy club of incestuously-staffed State Department careerists continues in their Disney Diplomacy by negotiating through prior concessions. (see: How Democracies Perish by Jean-Francois Revel, 1984; 360 pgs.)
Does Iran need to be eliminated as a threat to world peace?
Absolutely.
Has Iran been a threat to world peace since the 1970s (fifty + years) when the Swiss police found the Islamic Strategic Plan for Implementing the Seventh Caliphate in a recently vacated Swiss chalet?
Yes.
Have both Political Parties‘ administrations chosen to ignore or facilitate Islamic threats to the West in order to “never waste a good crisis” in furthering the profiteering of the Political – Military – Industrial – Complex?
In particular, Bush, Jr. and the Clintons?
Absolutely!.

– Final Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, 2004 in which the two actions – by Hillary Clinton and the U.S. State Department – opened the gates for the 9/11 terrorists and handcuffed the FBI and CIA who knew who they were and where they were but were prevented by Clinton to communicate with each other; and the State Department‘s proclamation to the Immigration & Naturalization Service laid the red carpet (literally) out for the terrorist to enter the United States)
As a former Marine, I still feel payback is long overdue for Iran’s surrogates killing my 241 comrades-in-arms and the 128 permanently injured on October 22, 1983.
I have fumed and wondered why neither Reagan nor any other subsequent President of the United States of either Party took retribution when the CIA told them the cell that conducted the bombing was just a few miles down the road from the barracks.
I fumed and wondered why Reagan put fighting Marines in a NO-Win Strategic, Operational and Tactical position with feckless Rules of Engagement (ROEs) imposed by the damned State Department that enabled a suicide truck to drive unimpeded right by an unarmed perimeter guard in the most hostile city on earth.
The answer is the Democrats have shifted so far Left as to now be dominated by Muslim loving traitors to America – culminating in one being elected mayor of New York City. (Well, it IS New York so it’s to be expected).
The Republicans have been complicit in allowing almost a million legal immigrants – many from American hating countries – into our country and feared offending the multiple, non- acculturating Muslim community electorate.

And then there’s the elephant in the room paradigm: “There is no Profit in Peace“.
Which brings us to Lincoln lambasting Trump for his Hormuz Havoc:
One question first: Trump! Do you want NATO assistance or not? If so, you have a obnoxiously insulting way of treating nations you eventually need to get you out of your shitting all over the chessboard.
In a September 22, 1861 letter to Senator William Orville Browning, President Abraham Lincoln clarified the limits of presidential war powers:
“Dear William: Washington, Feb. 15. 1848
Your letter of the 29th. Jany. was received last night. Being exclusively a constitutional argument, I wish to submit some reflections upon it in the same spirit of kindness that I know actuates you. Let me first state what I understand to be your position. It is, that if it shall become necessary, to repel invasion, the President may, without violation of the Constitution, cross the line, and invade the teritory of another country; and that whether such necessity exists in any given case, the President is to be the sole judge. Before going further, consider well whether this is, or is not your position. If it is, it is a position that neither the President himself, nor any friend of his, so far as I know, has ever taken. Their only positions are first, that the soil was ours where hostilities commenced, and second, that whether it was rightfully ours or not, Congress had annexed it, and the President, for that reason was bound to defend it, both of which are as clearly proved to be false in fact, as you can prove that your house is not mine. That soil was not ours; and Congress did not annex or attempt to annex it. But to return to your position: Allow the President to invade a neighboring nation, whenever he shall deem it necessary to repel an invasion, and you allow him to do so, whenever he may choose to say he deems it necessary for such purpose—and you allow him to make war at pleasure. Study to see if you can fix any limit to his power in this respect, after you have given him so much as you propose. If, to-day, he should choose to say he thinks it necessary to invade Canada, to prevent the British from invading us, how could you stop him? You may say to him, “I see no probability of the British invading us” but he will say to you “be silent; I see it, if you dont.” The provision of the Constitution giving the war-making power to Congress, was dictated, as I understand it, by the following reasons. Kings had always been involving and impoverishing their people in wars, pretending generally, if not always, that the good description of the people was the object. This, our Convention understood to be the most oppressive of all Kingly oppressions; and they resolved to so frame the Constitution that no one man should hold the power of bringing this oppression upon us. But your view destroys the whole matter, and places our President where kings have always stood. Write soon again. Yours truly, A. LINCOLN
One of Trump’s mewling, Cabinet members needs to kick Trump in his golden ass and remind Trump! YOU ARE NOT A KING!
And you sure as Hell are no Lincoln.
A fawning subscriber to MAGA Media needs to remind those “Public Intellectuals” (see: Posner) that the Constitution – NOT Trump – is the Law of the land.
