If fans of conservative media took the time to vet “conservative” commentators they would be amazed to learn how many counterfeit (almost entirely New Yorker) conservatives there are being paid indecent amounts of dollars to babble “conservative” diatribe when their personal convictions are diametrically opposed to what spews out of their mouths. I occasionally (and briefly) listen to these bobbing heads and ask myself “Who is he/she that I should value their opinion or waste my time listening to them? What have they done to earn my attention – especially at such high salaries to read ad infinitum the same message on the prompter below the camera. It’s when they stray from the approved, written message that their liberal bias surfaces. Here are two examples:
Charles Payne on Fox Business praising the “Robber Barons!” of the early 20th century for “building America.” Payne portrayed a gross lack of historical knowledge. The reason industrialists like Carnegie, Getty, and Rockefeller were named “Robbers” is they used mafia-style extortion, political bribery and illegal monopolistic (Socialistic) centralizing of economic and political power in their egocentric competition among themselves to be the richest men in the world. What is not taught in history is how many independent businessmen were driven out of business by unfair and illegal practices by the “barons.” Politicians, Supreme Court and federal judges, Federal Reserve Chairs were bribed to pass laws favoring the cabal of corporate cannibals to the extent President Teddy Roosevelt bulldozed through an equally corrupt congress (thanks to public outrage) laws prohibiting those monopolies – AntiTrust laws. Yes, America’s infrastructure was built. But it was at the cost of hundreds of honest, independent businessmen who, had they had a level playing field, could also have built it as well and for less and were equally deserving of the profits. Their American Dream was robbed of them by greedy, corrupt counterfeit capitalists. The “Robber Barons” used the Communist “Some animals are more equal than others” approach to their wealth. (see: The History of the Standard Oil Company by Ida M. Tarbell, 1904)
Jimmy Failla is another perfect example. His single qualification for political commentary seems to be he was a New York cab driver. Wow. I’m surprised he hasn’t been offered the chair of the Political Science Department at Harvard. Failla camouflages his ignorance and liberal bias behind inane attempts at humor. Beside the fact that what is going on in the Biden Administration and in the country is in no way funny, Failla should move to CNN with his co-counterfeit conservative Greta Van Susteran. At least she has a law degree.
Failla’s latest indicator of a liberal bent is his statement: “I’m not OK with any political violence!” That’s the comment of a New York metrosexual, limp-wristed, wimp who never got in a fight in his life. He knows nothing about war as “War is politics by other means” (Clausewitz and Mao). It’s the statement of a person totally ignorant of America’s historical narrative: 1776, 1812, The Alamo, WW II. It’s the emotional response of an urban, pampered person who has never defended a principle with his physical safety. It’s the fearful defense of a man who introduces his show “Left, Right, if we went to war we’d ALL BE ON THE SAME TEAM!” That’s never been the case in American history. Even during WW II many Americans were vociferously anti-war and pro-Nazi (see: Trading with the Enemy by Charles Higham). It’s not as if Failla would actually go to war. There’s been plenty of opportunity to do so during his short time on earth. What did he do after 9/11? Did he join the military to fight like other New Yorkers? His and his ilk’s faux patriotism and hypocrisy make me puke.
Jimmy Failla is neither funny, conservative nor a patriot. He is one of many monetary opportunists who can read a prompter. Nothing else – literally.
