The question persists why supposedly “conservative” talk show hosts continue to subscribe to a broadcast media corporation that is so blatantly non-conservative. If the same standard is applied to iHeart Media, Inc. as is being so effectively applied to Anheuser Busch’ Bud Light Beer, why are “conservative” talk show hosts still taking money from a corporation that advertises Leftist concepts even more blatantly than Bud Light?
“You can get anything you want for money.” – Satan.
The answer is apparently alleged “conservative” talk show hosts are willing to sell their souls for thirty pieces of silver. They’re willing to metaphorically speak out of both sides of their mouths espousing conservative thought while sucking from the financial teat of a corporation with a not-so-subtle hidden Liberal agenda. This shouldn’t be a surprise when one considers most “conservative” talk show hosts are from the Liberal East Coast – mainly New York City. It’s easy to discern the liberal bias behind their mouths – or lack of a moral compass – whenever they wander off-script and express a personal opinion.
iHeart Media, Inc. claims every six to eight minutes on the radio to be the #1 audio company providing access to mass media, “influencers,” and major markets. If so highly rated, why the sudden saturation of virtue signaling? “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.” – Shakespeare, Hamlet. This line is commonly used to imply that someone who denies something very strongly is hiding the truth. Proclaiming one’s own virtue in the advertising industry every six minutes is like a Broadway pimp claiming his prostitutes are virgins. Boasting continually of providing “trust” is like the IRS letter informing you “Trust me! I’m from the government and I’m here to help you.”
Many counterfeit “conservative” talk show hosts are paid by iHeart Medi, Inc. “The estimated total pay for a radio personality at iHeartMedia is $76,804 per year. This number represents the median, which is the midpoint of the ranges from our proprietary Total Pay Estimate model and based on salaries collected from our users. The estimated base pay is $57,674 per year.” (Wikipedia)
A cursory reality check of iHeart’s virtue is revealing. Some examples of iHeart’s sublimated propaganda:
- “Rufio”, the iHeart, Inc. ad man is not so subtle innuendo for the date rape drug known as “Rufies” or “Roofies”.
- Ads for Adult sex stores
- Incessant ads for CBD products – the psychological precursor to the fentanyl “epidemic” and other forms of neurosis.
- Incessant ads appealing to the morbid with podcasts about murders.
- iHeart Media, Inc. is majority owner of Weed and High Times magazines with the intent of gaining a monopoly of the marijuana market.
- Incessant ads promoting the LGBTQ+ agenda
- Incessant ads bragging about being an “Influencer.”
These are not true conservative (or Christian) values.
iHeart Media, Inc. doesn’t advertise it intentionally targets the same youth demographic as fentanyl drug dealers. One could surmise iHeart Media, Inc. is the “front man” for all the above anti-culture organizations’ agendas. “Influencer?” “Groomer” would be more appropo!
iHeart Media, Inc. is the “government coming to help you” down the Silk Road to moral and cultural corruption. Like any morally bankrupt corporation with a hidden agenda iHeart Media, Inc. has serious problems behind the glowing commercials:
- “The big problem for iHeartMedia is that there’s $5.4 billion of debt on the balance sheet, which is going to be tough to pay down if earnings are rising, but impossible if results are getting worse. Advertisers are moving to more digital forms of advertising, and that’s simply not where iHeartMedia excels.” Mar 1, 2023 (Reuters)
- “iHeartMedia Inc.PK filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Thursday as the largest U.S. radio station owner reached an agreement with creditors to more than halve its $20 billion in debt.” Mar 14, 2018. Don’t you wish your bank would do that for you?
- “Is iHeartMedia a good company to work for? iHeartMedia has an overall rating of 3.2 out of 5, based on over 2,523 reviews left anonymously by employees. 43% of employees would recommend working at iHeartMedia to a friend and 35% have a positive outlook for the business.” (This sounds eerily similar to Joe Biden’s ratings!)
- “It adopted the tech-hipster moniker iHeartMedia, and its finances are a mess. The company has lost money every year since 2007, and it’s saddled with $20.4 billion in debt. Credit analysts predict it could file for bankruptcy any day now.” Jan 23, 2018
- “Our consolidated revenue increased $63.9 million, or 6.0%, during the three months ended December 31, 2022 compared to the same period of 2021. Digital Audio revenue increased $27.9 million, or 10.2%, driven primarily by continuing increases in demand for podcasting (including podcast trade) and digital advertising” – iHeart Media, Inc. Feb 28, 2023. [It would be interesting for an outside audit be conducted to determine if this is true – and to discover who is funneling so much money into a corporation whose agenda is so anti-social and whose profits seem to be continually disappearing down a rat hole. Do I smell George Soros?]
- “Advertisers are moving to more digital forms of advertising, and that’s simply not where iHeartMedia excels. The company still has a lot of legacy radio assets in a structural decline, and podcasts don’t necessarily make sense at large companies like this. Smaller producers are more equipped to grow cost effectively without large sales staffs, using the digital nature of platforms like Spotify.” – By Travis Hoium – Mar 1, 2023 at 12:46PM writing for The Motley Fool.
How can supposedly “conservative” talk show hosts claim conservative bona fides when they take money from such a counter conservative corporation? How are they any different than Joe Biden taking money from China? Or District Attorneys taking money from George Soros?
The hypocrisy is stunning. Counterfeit conservative talk show hosts are drinking the Bud Light of broadcasting.
