If Ft. Huachuca is a microcosm of what’s happening in the rest of America, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and our basic “natural rights” as envisioned by our Founding Fathers (and guaranteed by those documents) are being violated on a daily basis.
Here are some examples:
- The gate guards that check your identification are suited up with masks, gloves, glasses, a badge and a gun. As you approach the gate, you have to press your ID up against the upper inside corner of your windshield while the astronaut-suited gate guard tries to get his ID card reader to read your ID. Then the gate guard lip syncs and signs for you to “turn it over!” so his handheld device can read the other side of your ID. It doesn’t always work. And while people are waiting in line the gate guard becomes a silent movie actor instructing the driver what to do so his device can read your ID through the glass. While you are doing this your car has to be completely sealed! Anyone with an opposite side window or the sun roof partially open and the gate guard will not inspect your ID until your car is hermetically sealed. Somebody has watched too many movies (that’s part of the problem nation-wide).
- An email has been sent to everyone working on Ft. Huachuca that “green suitors” (military personnel) can approach Department of the Army civilians (DACs) and Defense contractors and tell them to put on a mask and/or that they are in violation of the six foot social distancing policy. There are actually two-man teams roaming Ft. Huachuca offices measuring the distance between workers!
All that’s missing are the brown shirts and the swastika arm bands! It’s the same kind of people doing this. Neither DACs nor contractors can do the same to the green suitors. If this flu is such a dangerous plague one would think “mere” DACs and contractors have as much right as the “green suitors” and reciprocate the gesture. DACs and contractors have to conduct a whisper campaign behind the green suitors backs “through channels” to complain of those violations. Yeah, right! That’s going to get dealt with! Ft.Huachuca has become George Orwell’s Animal Farm…”All animals are equal. But some animals are more equal than others.” In the military this is known as “different spanks for different ranks“. Orwell’s book, not coincidentally, was a satire of communism (socialism’s pater noster).
3. Of the abundance of examples of hysteria I’ve heard going on at Ft. Huachuca this takes the cake: On a weekend, a defense contractor employee went to California to buy a car. As he is signing the papers to close the deal his supervisor calls him on his cell phone, asks where he is.and tells him when he returns to Ft. Huachuca he has to take two weeks off in “quarantine – without pay”. Any way you look at that it’s pure bullshit – not to mention a clear violation of the contractor’s constitutional rights under ex post facto. This was one of the first things our Founding Fathers included in the Constitution due to the abuses of it by King George III (read The Federalist Papers). I hope the contractor has a good lawyer.
Besides the special interests that are going to rake in hundreds of millions of dollars thanks to Pelosi’s pork barreling of the 2.2 trillion “bail-out” lawyers should get filthy rich suing the Snowflakes exercising unconstitutional authority when the hysteria recedes into common sense.
The indicators of Socialist mission creep in America have been seen for decades. One of my most aggravating is seeing the flag lowered to half- mast for every Tom, Dick and Harry that dies. You name it and down comes the flag. School shootings, nightclub shootings, a Hollywood actor, a singer, even soldiers killed in combat. Lowering our flag for those tragedies gives the perpetrators psycho-sexual satisfaction. Our flag flew all night through British bombardment at Ft. McHenry. The flag raised on Mt. Suribachi was not lowered for thousands of Marines dying taking Iwo Jima.* If you want to constructively mourn troops killed in combat write a letter to your congressman demanding to know why we’ve been in two no-win wars for the last twenty years. Now state governors, city mayors and town councils think they have the authority to lower it at their whim (or political ambition). They don’t. Our flag is a symbol of strength – or was until this mass hysteria occurred. Now Russia and China are pre-orgasmic seeing America implode over an annual flu virus. Don’t be surprised if next flu season you see operation Red Dawn – Russian paratroopers et al. Nothing entices tyranny more than weakness.
The “Safe Distance” policy is really a “Safe Place” for Hypochondriacs. The people enforcing this policy are a Freudian dream (“fear of guns is an indicator of sexual impotency” – Freud); Trump-hating, politically motivated Leftists. Score one for them for shutting down our economy and showing our youth what Socialism looks like. Stay tuned for next flu season. You ain’t seen nuthin’ yet.
- Ceremonies honoring soldiers killed in action properly involves playing taps while slowly lowering the flag to half-mast then raising it quickly to full mast to show the strength of the nation and the resurrection of the dead.
