Trumph’s Defense of Democracy
For the first time in American history an American president is covertly siding with a convicted communist dictator in Putin’s internationally recognized illegal invasion of a freely elected, democratic nation.
According to the London Times, the meeting between Trumph and Zelensky last weekend broke down into a shouting match with Trumph and his sycophant advisors demanding Zelensky accept Putin’s invasion of the Donetsk and other occupied regions of Ukraine.
According to sources, the meeting turned into a “screaming match” when Trumph yelled at Zelensky “it’s not even a war, it’s a ‘special operation’ – the exact words Putin used to justify his unprovoked invasion of Ukraine two years ago in direct violation of Russia’s signing of the Budapest Treaty of 1994. NOTE: It’s also what Russia called their invasion of Afghanistan.
After the meeting, described by Trump to American media as “productive”, Trumph told reporters “they should stop the war immediately.”
Who’s “they”?
If Trumph had been referring to Russia, China and North Korea he would have correct – for once.
But, amazingly, Trumph was referring to Russia and Ukraine!
Uh, excuse me! Who violated the 1994 Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances? Russia. In the Budapest Treaty of 1994: Ukraine gave up their nuclear capability when Russia, the U.S. and the United Kingdom promised not to invade Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
Putin is making a laughing stock out of Trumph by making their next collaboration occur in Budapest – where Russian president Boris Yeltsin signed a treaty not to invade Ukraine!
Who is targeting and murdering women and children in their schools, hospitals, nurseries and homes? Russia.
Who is using the Russian version of Tomahawk missiles to strike Ukraine’s capital and infrastructure? Russia.
Trumph’s branding Ukraine’s defense against Putin’s invasion as Moral equivalency by blaming both parties – with obvious and repeated deference to Putin – is an astonishing display of political bullshit.
Trumph’s refusal to provide Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine after his “productive” 2-hour phone call with his communist muse Putin is quickly exposing Trumph’s Ukraine policy for what it really is: outright collusion with a criminally convicted, communist dictator.
At Putin’s direction, Trumph’s feckless excuse for refusing Tomahawk missiles for Ukraine’s defense is that it would be an “escalation” – words right out of Putin’s mouth.
Someone with more foreign policy experience than “Rube” Rubio and more military acumen than a sophomoric Reservist Civil Affairs Captain posing as a Secretary of Defense should educate Trumph on the political-military concept of “Parity” – the quality or state of being equal or equivalent.
In military terms, parity is a “state of readiness between opposing forces, meaning they are relatively equal in their capability and ability to fight.”
Zelensky simply wants weapon parity so he can take out the Russian version of tomahawk missiles that Putin has been using against Ukraine for the last two years.
Does asking for a level battlefield constitute “making war”?
Is it wrong for a free, independent democratic nation to defend itself against overwhelming odds by asking for the means for survival?
All Zelensky is asking for a level battlefield to defend his democratic nation against naked communist aggression.
Trumph has no concept of freedom or war – what it takes to preserve it or wage it.
Putin wasted no time taking Trumph to the political woodshed when he heard Trumph was teasing the public about sending Ukraine tomahawk missiles.
Trumph gets perverted pleasure throwing out ideas like that knowing he won’t actually follow through on any of them.
Putin is a master puppeteer and Trumph is his star puppet – like Jeff Dunham’s puppet Peanut. Putin is pulling peanut-brained Trumph’s personal economic strings to make him dance to Putin’s geo-political tune.
As John Bolton depicted in his book The Room Where It Happened and several other Trumph friends and appointees have said, Trumph sees every issue as a personal business deal.
In the business world that’s commendable.
In foreign affairs it’s a recipe for disaster.
Trumph has repeatedly demonstrated he is incapable of abstract thought – as in the inherent ideological conflict between communism and capitalism.
Bolton saw this when he tried explaining the Bill of Rights to Trumph – and couldn’t get past the Fourth Amendment.
When a reporter asked Trumph if he was going to suspend habeas corpus while sending the national guard into high-crime, democrat-controlled cities. Trumph replied “Who?” before realizing his blazing display of ignorance and quickly deflecting the question to AG Bondi.
The President of the United States has no clue about the most basic pillar of our Constitutional rights!
In foreign affairs, Trumph is, in addition to his NYC-bred moral bankruptcy, in permanent aporia – the state of being perplexed or at a loss confronting crises.
Shamelessly, without any sense of moral repugnance – Trumph boasted the majority of his phone conversation with Putin was spent discussing economics! Trumph blatantly told the world he and Putin spent the bulk of a two-hour phone conversation – allegedly to discuss the war in Ukraine – on economics!
That offhand comment, like many of his, reveals the true Trumph. He can’t carry on a conversation about concepts he has no clue about. He has no sense of international diplomacy or political reality.
Trumph’s small world is making the real world a more dangerous place to live.
By mouthing verbatim Putin’s “feeling” toward Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, Trumph has proven he will not do anything that will enable Ukraine to kick Putin’s ass. Not even provide means to level the battlefield
Bolton and other true diplomats with credible and honorable service have said – Trumph is grossly unqualified for the job.
Trumph’s personal profit psyche is making Joe Biden’s Burisma corruption look like small potatoes.
If the MAGA Media – starting with Sean Hannity – ever takes their blinders off; when his plethora of criminal pardons is added to the scales, then his “Useful Idiot” collaboration with an avowed enemy of the United States will see the light of day from real journalists,
One British commentator remarked “Whatever Putin is holding over Trump it is working – and it is unprecedented.”
Trumph using Putin’s words to gaslight the American public to cover collusion against Ukraine is reprehensible and unprecedented in American history.
