Illich Ramirez Sanchez “The Jackal”
Venezuelan Marxist and world-renowned terrorist Ilich Ramirez Sanchez (aka ‘Carlos The Jackal‘) masterminded bombings and hostage takings in the 1970s and 80s becoming the world’s most notorious political terrorist before his capture in Sudan in 1994. In 2016, Sanchez was moved to Clairvaux Prison in France where he is serving three life sentences.
During one of his many restless night’s sleep, Sanchez, hearing of Trump’s trumped up war on his homeland, teleported to the White House to have a serious conversation with the “GREAT!” president Trump:
Sanchez: “Trump! WAKE UP! What do you think you’re doing?”
Trump: “Who are you and how did you get into my bedroom?”
Sanchez: “You know, we terrorists can go anywhere and get into anything with enough political will. You may have heard of me on the news in your misspent youth. I’m better known as Carlos The Jackal.”
Trump: “Hold on a minute. Let me comb my hair. There. OK. Well, I seem to recall hearing of you a long time ago. I thought you were dead! What could you possibly want with me?”
Sanchez: “You are screwing things up for all of us self-respecting terrorists. I have to admit though you are doing an excellent job of gas lighting your electorate and GOP congress to cover your personal peccadillos and personal profiting schemes.”
Trump: “I don’t know what you are talking about and I DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THOSE FINANCIAL THINGS.”
Sanchez: “Well, done, Trump! When cornered with irrefutable evidence always fall back on the line ‘I don’t know anything about that.’ Hero worshippers – (we call them ‘Useful Idiots‘) are always eager to grasp at any excuse to avoid facing the Hard Truth about their demi-god.
Trump: “You’re not telling me anything I haven’t known and used to GREAT! effect most of my life. But you haven’t told me why you are here?”
Sanchez: “I’m here to educate you on the difference between us real terrorists and those drug dealing businessmen in Latin America supplying your addicted electorate.
You see, terrorism is an art. Your own government defines “Terrorism” as the calculated use of violence to create a general climate of fear in a population in order to bring about a particular objective.”
Terrorists’ goals in every operation is to project power; to gain media attention, and to manipulate the media for perceived legitimacy. The greater the emotional shock the greater the desired effect. (State Department.gov)
Terrorists murder and bomb and take hostages for purely political purposes. We are tools for leaders of countries who have political agendas – like Iran.
On the contrary, drug Cartel leaders are simply businessmen who provide a product in great demand by you Americans.
Cartel leaders prefer to stay off the radar – to operate behind the scenes paying off presidents and politicians to grease the skids of their smuggling operations – like reducing controls and penalties on their sales and use – thank you very much!. It’s only when you interfere with their profiting off your vices that they can get really cranky.
In that regard, Cartel leaders do rival us in using tactics like ours – torture, murder, bombings, hostage taking, etc. to send a message. But they are not terrorists according to international law.
Whereas, we terrorists will always have a political agenda to achieve, drug Cartel leaders’ only agenda – their raison d’etre – is to supply a product to their customers. If there were not such a high demand by your people for the drugs the Cartel leaders would be out of jobs!
Drug Cartel Leaders don’t need to project power – the money you Americans flood them with gives them the means to protect their illicit trade.
Drug Cartel Leaders don’t need to manipulate the media. They throw money to their neighbors to give them that “Robin Hood” persona. That buys off the local population who provide logistical and security support – a lot like your Parties political promises during campaigns.
Preferring to stay off the TV, they don’t manipulate the media to gain perceived legitimacy. There is no question they are an illegitimate enterprise. The only use they make of the media is when they blow up a Parliament, Supreme Court or murder informers and hang their headless bodies from bridges over main thoroughfares to send a message to the politicians and law enforcement not to mess with them.
We terrorists are envious of Cartel leaders ability to live with impunity within their own countries at such little cost while we have to stay on the move to avoid capture.
I have to give you credit Trump. You’ve done an admirable job of confusing your constituency about the difference between real terrorism and drug smuggling.

Putin sends his congrats too. While he murders innocent men, women and children in their beds in a free democracy, you ignore that, praise and reward him while enabling the suicide of hedonistic drug users at their pot parties in your own country!
Your reverse engineering of the Left‘s Lawfare and Social Justice to pardon drug cartel leaders and other criminals is also admirable! While killing a few, irrelevant fast boat operators in international waters, you pardon the guys in charge and the ones inside your own country who are the most direct threat!
You don’t execute domestic drug dealers on U.S. soil or in your own territorial waters – you don’t even execute real terrorists in your own country!
If “Useful Idiot” Secretary of Defense Hegseth had a brain he would at least kill the drug smuggling lackeys in your own territorial waters! I mean, IF you have the “excellent intelligence” you say you have, it should be easy distinguishing them from the other seaborne traffic – no?
Kind of like the Coast Guard has been doing – legally – for decades?

By taking the reigns personally, aren’t you telling the DEA and the Coast Guard they have failed in their mission?
Why not plus up their budget and recruits like you did with the Border Patrol – instead of busting the Defense budget with a feckless show of power in another country’s waters?
As long as your drug addicted public demands the drugs, killing Cartel leaders is like playing a very expensive game of Whack-a- Mole.
Like every counter insurgency America has lost, America’s Drug “War” is doomed to fail because it doesn’t have the perceived legitimacy of the population – your own!
No American president has really fought a Drug “War”. It’s really American suicide.
And you’ve just made it easier for your “High-minded” public to get even higher by reducing the classification of our best precursor addictive drug – marijuana! At a time when half your fatal traffic fatalities are a result of alcohol or drug use!
