“Apparatchik” General Bondi’s Ruse Requires Resignation

It is inevitable that every sycophantic, political apparatchik* appointed by a megalomaniacal oligarch is eventually doomed to failure in a fairly functioning Constitutional republic.

“No one is above the law nor is anyone beneath it; nor do we ask anyone’s permission to enforce it.” – President Theodore Roosevelt, Citizenship in a Republic; Speech to the Sorbonne, Paris, April 23, 1910.

“Roosevelt’s phrase encapsulated the core principle of the Rule of Law meaning everyone – regardless of status [or position] must obey the law – and its enforcement isn’t just a request but a fundamental duty, emphasizing equality, accountability, and the supremacy of the law over individuals.” – wikipedia

ApparatchikGeneral Pamela Jo Bondi has proven her bona fides by obediently and unquestioningly providing cover for her Party Leader’s lack of character and integrity.

Bondi’s failure to provide the promised – now nonexistent – list of names involved in the Epstein files; her persistent stalling in providing pertinent documentary evidence possessed by her office to the appropriate committees of Congress, and now her failure to obey the law by providing “all documents in the possession of the Department of Justice pertaining to the Epstein investigation” by Friday, December 19, 2025 belies** her boss’s claim to being “the most transparent administration in history.”

Apparatchik General Bondi‘s “ruse” in providing only a portion of the required documents, heavily redacted under the blatantly false rubric of “protecting identities of the victims” is the only transparent thing about Bondi’s tenure.

“A ruse is a clever trick, deception, or stratagem used to mislead someone, often to gain advantage or avoid [accountability] . Synonyms are: feint and subterfuge.” – Merriam Webster Dictionary

Bondi’sbehavior is not only blatant contempt of Congress. She has unlawfully tampered with and destroyed evidence relevant to an ongoing investigation.

Lesser mortals are languishing in prison for doing far less. So much for TR’s “no one is above the Law.”

If there is any public institution requiring a higher level of integrity within our government it is within the Department of “Justice.”  The term defines itself.

People occupying positions of power and authority forget they are there because the people elected their boss – and, although most often misguided by emotional appeals to sanitized icons of integrity, we are not stupid.

We recognize Bullshit when we see it. And, we as a people – though generous to a fault and prone to forgive honest mistakes – really HATE being lied to. This is especially true when our taxes are paying your generous salaries and comfortable life-styles within our Parthenon of Politics.

Despite feckless Congressional cowardice in prosecuting Justice against Bondi’s contempt of Congress, tampering and destroying evidence for fear of wreaking the wrath of their “Great!” Leader, AG Bondi should resign – if not for fear of prosecution then then out of self-respect.

If her integrity means more to her than position and power she will submit her resignation to her Oligarch immediately.

If AG Bondi doesn’t resign her legacy will only be that as Trump’s version of Biden’s Merrick Garland – another apologist for another morally bankrupt President of the United States.

The real domestic threat to national security is not fentanyl – or the citizenry.

It’s the abuse of power.
