Memo to Education Secretary Linda McMahon: Restore Our Historical Narrative!

Secretary McMahon,

I am writing in the hope that with your taking office you will use your position to restore America’s historical narrative by reinserting the classic literature purged during the last few years of Obama / Biden / Leftist Third Reich-style sanitation of our American schools of any literature dealing with American history and Western Civilization

Beginning with works by John Steinbeck. His works had been the most widely read literature in American schools until “Progressives” banned them during the second decade of this century.

Mary Antin’s The Promised Land is another seminal cultural piece of literature that should be included in every high school’s English literature class.

There are many other great works that have been purged by Progressives that should be restored to the instruction of all young Americans.

You have a unique opportunity to resurrect an appreciation for what it cost to enjoy our freedoms in America today in the hearts of a generation deprived of that knowledge by an education system antithetical to the American ideal – who we Americans are, where we came from and why we are who we are.

As a parent and grandparent I am greatly concerned with what succeeding generations of Americans do not know – or worse still – what anti-American propaganda is being instilled in their fertile minds that destroys the moral fabric of this nation.

Please stem the tide of this indoctrination by leading the restoration of the literature that provided the basis for our generations’ patriotism and civil character.

Sincerely,

John Q. Citizen
